Physical hazards: A physical hazard is any factor in the environment that can harm our body without necessarily touching it. Hearing loss is one of the most common problems in a manufacturing unit with heavy noise making machines like the sewing machine or cutter.
Chemical hazards: Dangerous chemicals can cause a hazard in the work area. There are many categories of hazardous chemicals. Certain chemicals are harmful at some levels when mixed with other chemicals.

5. What do you understand by the biological hazards?
Answer: Biological hazards include things of biological origin that pose a risk to the workers. Sources of biological hazards may include bacteria, viruses, insects, plants, birds, animals, and humans themselves.

6. What is meant by the psychological hazards?
Answer: A psychosocial hazard or work stressor is any occupational hazard that affects the psychological and physical well being of workers, including their ability to participate in a work environment among other people.

7. List three things that one should do to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

* Eat Sensibly: Eat healthy food. Avoid temptation of eating junk food as much as possible. Always eat food in moderation. It protects you not only from obesity but also from many other ailments.
* Drink Plenty of water: Dehydration can cause as drowsiness and sluggishness at work It is therefore always a good idea to drink between six and eight glasses of water everyday.
* Keep clean and exercise regularly: Being hygienic goes a long way in keeping you healthy. You can take the necessary steps at work too. Keep a bottle of hand sanitizer at your desk.
