Output Devices(microphone,webcam,speaker,printer,monitor):

An output device is a device used to send data from a computer to another computer or user. Examples include monitors, projectors, speakers, headphones and printers.

Some Output devices are:
1. Monitor: It is a output device. It display the output on the screen. Monitor usually comprises the visual display circuitry.Different types of monitors are LCD, LED and CRT. Monitors are connected via VGA cable to CPU.
Today's computer monitors are easily interchangeable with television sets.Different technologies have been used for computer monitor. High resolution CRT were developed  for military industrial and scientific applications.

2. Printer: Printer is a output device. It is used to take the printout. There are different types of printers are available like impact and non-impact printer. Plotters are also type of printer, they can print big size printout like flex, banners etc. Impact printers are- Dot matrix printer and Line printer.Ink jet printer and Laser printer are non-impact printer.

3. Headphone: Headphone is a input/output device. It is also called earphones or headphones. These are small speakers that con be worn in your ears. Headphones includes transducers that convert audio signals into sound signals. Headphone components are much smaller than speaker component.

4. Speaker: Speaker is a output device.It is used to listen music.Signals used to produce the sound that created by the computer's sound card. Speakers are made up of cone, an iron coil, a magnet, and housing.

5. Plotter: Plotter is also a output device. It is used to take printout of flex. A plotter is a computer hardware like a printer. They uses pen, pencil, marker and some other tools for printing.

6. Projector: It is a output device. It is used to display data on the screen. It is a optical device that display an image on a surface. Today's projector used today known as video projector.The latest projectors are handheld projectors that use lasers or LED to display images.

7. Webcam (I/O): Webcam is a input/output device. It is used to take input and give output. Webcams are digital camera that's attached to a computer.Today's desktop computers and Laptops come with in-built cameras.

8. Touch Screen (I/O): Touch screen is a input/output device. There are two main  technologies used for touchscreens:
* A Resistive Touchschreen: It has a layer of conducting polyester plastic. When you touch it, you force the polyester to touch the glass and complete circuit. This screens can sense only one finger at once.
* A Capacitive Touchscreen: It has multiple layers of glasses. Innermost and outermost layers of glass conduct electricity.

9.  CD/DVD (I/O): These are the input and output devices. CD(compact disk) and DVD(Digital Video Disk) are used to store data. These are secondary memories used for read and write data.

10. USB Drive.: It is also work as input device. It is a data storage  device. It is also known as flash memory. It is used for data backup and data transfer. It consists of a small printed circuit board that carrying the circuit elements. Flash drive is a movable device.
