Answer: Content placeholder is a multi purpose placeholder which allows you to add objects like images, media clip, tables, charts, graphics and ClipArt on a slide besides text.

Answer: Slide layouts contain placeholder boxes, formatting, positioning for all of the content which appears on a slide.

Answer: Follow these steps to insert a table in a presentation using the table grid:
1. Select the slide where you want to insert the table.

Answer: Steps to insert a sound clip from the clip organizer are as follows:
1. Select the slide where you want to add sound.
2. Select the Insert tab.
3. Click the drop-down arrow below the sound button in the Media clips group.
4. Select sound from clip organizer.
5. Enter appropriate keywords in the search field.
6. Click Go.
7. Click a sound file in the task pane to insert it.
8. This dialog box prompts you to select the option to start the sound in slide show. Choose one of the options Automatically or when clicked.

Answer: We can insert a table on a slide having a title and content layout using the steps given below:

2. Click the insert table icon in the content placeholder.
3. Enter the number of columns and rows in the dialog box.
4. Click Ok. The table will appear on the slide, and the Design and layout tabs will appear on the Ribbon.

1. Create a new presentation in PowerPoint.

1. Select a cell in the Excel sheet, and enter the new value.
