1. What is a presentation software? Name some important presentation software available in the market.
Answer: A Presentation Software is a software program that allows you to create presentations by combining text, pictures, videos, sound, animation, charts and graphics with a number of special effects. Some Presentation software's are MS PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, OpenOffice Impress, LibreOffice Impress and Corel Presentations, etc.
2. What is a slide? How is it different from a presentation?
Answer: Slide in Presentation Software is a single page. Collection of slides is called a Presentation. A Presentation is the act of showing and explaining an idea, a point or a topic to an audience.
3. What is Title slide? What is its role in the making of a presentation?
Answer: The first slide in a presentation is usually a title slide that contains two placeholders- the title placeholder and the subtitle placeholder. We can add the title text in the title placeholder and we can add subtitle text in the subtitle placeholder.

5. What are placeholders? How is a title placeholder is different from a content placeholder?
Answer: Placeholders are the containers in a slide layout that hold content such as text (including body text, bulleted text and title text), tables, charts, SmartArt graphics, movies, sounds, pictures and clipart. A slide layout also contains the theme(colors, fonts, effects and the background) of a slide as well. We can add the title text in the title placeholder and we can add subtitle text in the subtitle placeholder.
