Self means you and the sum of your personality that includes your potential, abilities, thoughts and the goals you set for yourself in your life. Management means the way you go about understanding your potential, your abilities and competing the tasks, to achieve your predetermined goals.
b. What is meant by the self-management skills?
Answer: The set of skills that help us to manage ourselves are called the self-management skills.This means developing skills such as a positive attitude, self-control, excellence, self-confidence, patience, emotional discipline, persistence and resilience.

Answer: Three self management skills:
1. Positive attitude: A positive attitude means that your thoughts, behaviour and actions are always positive and your outlook is optimistic.
2. Self control: The essential skill for self-management is self-control.
3. Self confidence: Self-confidence is the ability to believe in yourself and and trust your own judgment.
d. Why is a positive attitude essential for self-management?
Answer: Positive attitude is essential for self-management because of positive attitude is the key to success. If you have positive attitude the you are able to take difficult situations as opportunities, take problems as challenges, take shocks as blessings to learn from, etc. to you can succeed.
e. How is persistence and resilience important in self-management?
Answer: Persistence and resilience are other names for hard work. Persistence allows you to relentlessly pursue your goals, even under the most difficult situations.Resilience allows you to adapt to or overcome setbacks that might otherwise prevent you from achieving your goals. These are essential skills for self-management.
