To search information on internet open any web browser. Type any search engine in address bar and press enter. Now type the information that you want to open.

2. What do you understand by favourite lists?

Answer: Favourite feature is available in web browser. You can save website or web page in favourite list. So that you can open this website or web page easily from favourite list.

3. While working on the internet you have encountered a useful web page. How will you save it in your computer?

Answer: To save a web page follow the steps:

1. Choose Save As option in the file menu. Save webpage dialog box is displayed.

2. Select a location where to save the web page and give a name to the file.

3. Click the save button to save the web page. You can later open the saved file to see its contents.

4. Briefly explain the tips for accurate search using search engines.

Answer: Sometimes you will notice that the results of search process are not quite what you are looking for. It is because of the wrong selection of search keywords. So, before typing the keywords take care of the following for an accurate search.

3. Use quotes for phrases

4. Case sensitive search

5. What do you understand by Net Telephony? Name some of the Net Telephony Service Providers.

Answer: Net telephony allows you to make calls to a telephone or a PC any where in the world, using internet connection. It uses internet as the medium for transporting voice.

6. How is online education useful for learners as well as teachers?

Answer: Online education is useful for learners because of it utilized the internet or video conferencing to create learning communities. Course materials are provided on a website, CD, DVD, E-mail, chat rooms etc.

7. What is Remote login?

Answer: Remote login is an internet utility that lets you work on a computer located far away by logging on to it. Remote login is used for exploring as well as for working on the remote systems.
