Guide keys have a small bump which touch typists can feel with their fingers. It helps them to place the fingers correctly on the home keys without even looking at the keyboard.

4. Explain the role of typing ergonomics in the practicing typing.
Answer: Ergonomics is defined as the science of work and one's physical relationship to that work. It helps us to unify workplace demands with personal comfort. When we talk about the typing ergonomics; it refers to the correct posture, positioning and placement while typing of typing resources to achieve maximum comfort.

6. What is meant by Home keys? What is their importance in typing?
Answer: Home keys are the keys on the computer keyboard, our fingers rest on when not typing. On the standard QWERTY keyboard, the home keys for our left hand are A,S,D,F and the home keys for our right hand are J,K, L and ; (semicolon). For both hands, the thumbs rest on the spacebar. By positioning our hands correctly on the home keys, we can memorize where all other keys on the keyboard are located and access them easily while typing.
