1. Excel Worksheet: Worksheet is the basic area in MS Excel. There are multiple pages in each workbook called worksheets. A new MS-Excel workbook contains 3 worksheet by default.
2. Row: Row is a horizontal line of boxes. Rows are labelled using numbers from one onwards like 1,2,3........ and so on.
3. Column: Column is a vertical line of boxes. They are labelled from A to Z. After Z, the column labels are AA, AB, .........BB, BC........ . Each worksheet has a total of 256 columns.
4. Cell: It is the smallest unit of a worksheet. It is formed by the intersection of a row and a column. Each cell has a unique address formed by the combination of a column letter and a row number.
