1.  Feedback makes communication meaningful.

Answer: A communication barrier is anything that prevents us from receiving and understanding the messages. Barrier may occur at any stage in the communication process.
1. Language Barriers: Difficulties in communication arise when the sender and the receiver of the message use words or symbols in different senses. The sender and receiver use different languages, can impact the proper flow of communication.
2. Physical Barriers: Physical distance between the sender and the receiver of the message is an important barrier to communicate, especially to non-verbal communication.

7. Write three measures that can be taken to overcome communication barriers.
Answer: Three measures to overcome communication barriers:
1. Use of simple language: It is. important to use language that is simple and easy to understand. Use of ambiguous words should be avoided.
2. Avoid inconsistency: Match your verbal and non-verbal communication. Your words as well as postures, gestures, and facial expressions should convey a consistent message.
3. Active listening: There is a difference between listening and hearing.  Many times we are just hearing but not really listening. Active listening means hearing with proper understanding of the message that is being heard.
