Answer: MS FrontPage is an HTML editor program developed by Microsoft. It is very easy to use software to design professional web pages and website. There are several versions of MS Frontpage.
2. What is the use of Page view in FrontPage? Explain its modes also.
Answer: Page view is used to design and edit web pages. The web page appears in the right side of the MS FrontPage window. The page view contains different modes like Normal, HTML and preview at the bottom left corner of the window.
Normal Mode: This mode is used to edit the web page.
HTML Mode: You can edit HTML codes in HTML mode.
Preview Mode: This mode is used to view the final look of a web page.
3. What are 'Themes' in FrontPage?
Answer: A theme in front page is a predefined combination of colors schemes, textures, graphics, types of bullets, etc. We can apply themes to the whole website or to selected web pages of the site.
4. What are collapsible bullets?
Answer: We know to insert bullets in MS Word. Here in MS FrontPage, we use collapsible bullets. Collapsible bullets expand or collapse when you click on them according to the levels. It is the same as + and - in windows explorer.
5. How can we launch our website?
Answer: Launching a website on the internet is the last phase of your website development. It is also called web hosting or web publishing. We need the following things to launch the website:
1. A registered URL or domain name.
2. A web uploading software.
3. An Internet connection.
