2. What is work area?
Answer: Work area surrounds the stage. You can place contents in the work area, but only the contents that appear on the stage will show up in the finished movie.

3. Why is flash one of the best multimedia format on the internet?
Answer: Flash is one of the best multimedia format on the internet, reasons are:
Interactivity: Flash provides designers with a wide range of possibilities.
Browser compatibility: Falsh is compatible with all the web browsers.
Creativity: Flash gives designers the ability to go beyond the limits of HTML.

4. How can we use the library in flash?
Answer: Library in a flash movie stores symbols created in flash. To display the library window, click window--->Library or press ctrl+L. To use a library item in the current moive, follow the steps:
1. Drag the symbol from the library window onto the stage.
2. To open the library from another flash file, choose file-->import--->open external library.
3. Navigate the flash file whose library you want to open and click open.

5. What is properties panel?
Answer: Properties panel is placed just below the stage and appears by default when flash is launched using the properties panel, you can easily manipulate all your movie contents from one place.

6. What are symbols? How are they useful in making a movie in flash?
Answer: Symbols are reusable elements that you use in a movie.
How symbols help us?
When a particular element is required more than once in a movie.By converting the element into a symbol, we can simply drag it from the library to the stage each time we need that element.

7. What do you understand by Animation?
Answer: Animations, like movie films are made up of many frames, each of which has a slight change from the last one. in flash, we create animation by changing the contents of successive frames. We can make an object move across the stage, increase or decrease the size, rotate, change color or change shape.

8. What do you understand by frame-by-frame animation?
Answer: In frame-by-frame animation, we create the image in every frame. This method consumes more time, but sometimes it is the only way to get the effect we want.

9. What is tweened animation in flash?
Answer: Tweening simply means going from one keyframe to another while taking small steps for each of the frames in between. Sometimes you want to add an effect that is graduated over several frames.
